REMEMBER
Remember, God is Here, There, and Everywhere

Jeremiah 23:24 – “If any man (person) should hide himself in secret places (we all have them), I will see him, says the LORD; behold, heaven and earth are FILLED WITH ME, says the LORD of hosts.” [Emphasis Mine].
I saw something wonderful as I read, prayed, pondered, and mused on God’s Word, Promises, Purpose, and Power. It was in Jeremiah 23:24.
As I meditated on the Word, several things captured my consciousness. God is Everywhere, so Nothing escapes His awareness. I have had people say, “I can’t find God. He is a million miles from me.” If that is true, this passage is a lie. God is Here, There, and Everywhere!
We all have our escape places where we hide. Subconsciously, we act as if God does not see us – He Does! If we are there to reconnect with Him, He is our hope, and the fact that He is Everywhere is powerfully comforting. If we are there trying to hide from Him, others, or even ourselves, He is a terror to us.
It is terrifying if we are hiding the thought that He is There. We need to realize and embrace God’s omnipresence, omniscience, and omnipotence. The Living God is with us to help, not hurt. He is here to love, not condemn. But God judges, right? Yes and No. He does render the final verdict, but we would condemn ourselves through unbelief and disobedience, which is rebellion.
Matthew 6:33 anchors Jesus’ declaration that the Father knows what we need even before we ask. If we truly realize He IS—He is here, there, and everywhere—then finding Him is as simple as calling to Him.
If we embrace the reality that all heaven and earth are filled with Him, we know we are Never Alone! We know that His desire is fellowship with us and to give us the fruits of the Kingdom.
Those fruits are life, peace, health, blessing, wisdom, knowledge, understanding, love, faith, grace, and power over all the enemies of life—freedom from worry, fear, and doubt. Compassion compels us toward perfection and links our hearts to His. We are enabled to see people and life through His eyes. Transformation!
His presence transforms and sets us free. It is there that we truly learn to live. Never say He is not near; that is a lie of the devil and the mind. Never say we can’t hear Him; that’s a lie of the devil and the mind.
If He is here, there, and everywhere, what could we lack since we are His, and He can do all things, owns all things, and has all power? We are to live conscious of Him, knowing that because He is here, we have nothing to fear and have no sense of lack because He has no deficiency. Embrace His presence and live fully and fearlessly.
Rejoice, God is Here, There, and Everywhere, and that is Good News!
REMEMBER, WE ARE SLAVES NO MORE…

Galatians 4:1-7 – “Now I say, as long as the heir is a child, he does not differ at all from a slave although he is owner of everything, 2 but he is under guardians and managers until the date set by the father. 3 So also we, while we were children, were held in bondage under the elemental things of the world. 4 But when the fullness of the time came, God sent forth His Son, born of a woman, born under the Law, 5 so that He might redeem those who were under the Law, that we might receive the adoption as sons. 6 Because you are sons, God has sent forth the Spirit of His Son into our hearts, crying, ” Abba! Father!” 7 Therefore you are no longer a slave, but a son; and if a son, then an heir through God.”
Paul’s way of explaining our relationship with God is powerful. He brings to mind that a child, although a member of the family and ultimately owner of all the family fortunes and worth, is little different from a slave because the child is under the authority of their parents or those whom the parents have placed over them. They are not allowed to operate as an “owner” until the father deems, they are ready. Owner of all but the authority of a slave is the condition described.
Then he declared to us that we are “sons” (a non-gender term as used here), and because of that truth, God has sent the Spirit of God into our hearts crying, “Abba! Father!” As a result, we are no longer slaves but sons and daughters; if we are sons and daughters, we are Heirs of God!
My friends, often we live beneath our privilege as children of the Most High! Frequently we live as slaves rather than sons and daughters? It is time that we assess who we are and whose we are. It is time to reread the Bible and determine what this “New Covenant” that is established upon “Better Promises” is about and what it affords. It is time that we reevaluate our relationship with the Lord and have the authority and power to overcome the enemy of our souls and the grace to live the Abundant Life that Jesus promised. You are not a Slave! You are a Child of God and an Heir according to His Promise!
Let us move from a slave mentality to a son and daughter mentality. Let us move from timidity to boldness in our relationship, heritage, and covenant. Let us begin to live as HEIRS and bring real hope to this hopeless world outside of Christ.
God bless and keep you as you go through your day!
