IF YOU BELIEVE, YOU WILL SEE…

Isaiah 6

I want to bring our attention to two accounts in Isaiah and the Gospel of John.  I believe they are linked as we may never have seen them before.  Not the specific events but the common thread found in them.

Isaiah 6 – Isaiah had a vision of God on His throne.  It was at the death of King Uzziah.  Isaiah saw the Lord on the throne, and that caused him to see his own sinfulness.   The seraphim brought the coal from the altar and declared him clean.  Then, after those three things came to the Call.  Isaiah had to have his heart changed to hear the call and desire to be used.  His thinking changed from the natural and theological to the spiritual reality of purpose.

John 11, the death of Lazarus, has somewhat the same thread. A thinking shift had to transpire.  Martha came to Jesus and spoke out of her theological mind – if You had been here.  Then, in response to Jesus’ statement about resurrection, she spoke theologically – at the Last Day.  Mary did much the same.

Jesus said, “I AM…”  That is not I will be, but I AM!   It is not future but present tense.  At the tomb, Martha protested, removing the stone because her natural mindset was dominant.   Jesus admonished her, saying, “Did I not say to you that IF you believe you will SEE the glory of God?”

His prayer was a focus shifter: “Father, You have heard Me, not will but have. I knew that You always hear Me…”  He did not say will, but You have heard me. He said that to shift the focus and mindset of those present. We need to stop thinking abstractly, theologically, and naturally and begin thinking as God thinks limitlessly.

If we can somehow See Him, we can then see us IN Him.  If we see His limitlessness, we can embrace our limitlessness in Him. Tragically, we tend to bind ourselves to the natural and future rather than embrace the present eternality of who we are now in Him!  We ask, hoping, not truly expecting because we do not see the present eternality in us through Him.

However, if we can see Him and ourselves in Him, we have a mind shift that brings heaven to earth and develops kingdom consciousness, which says He IS, and in Him, I Can Do All Things! Prayer becomes limitless, and confidence (faith) soars.  The heaven’s open!  Lord, give us vision to see, faith to believe, and courage to do because it is already done in You!

Allow the Holy Spirit to give you eyes to see in the spirit realm, and you will walk more victoriously in the natural.  May today be a day of peace, presence, promise, power, and plenty as you walk in Jesus!
