SPEAK THE WORD…

Isaiah 40:7-8 – “The grass withers, the flower fades, because the breath of the LORD blows upon it; surely this people is like the grass.8 The grass withers, the flower fades; but the word of our God shall stand forever.”

Sometimes, as I consider my personal battles, I look at the battles of others around me and become grateful for God’s goodness.   Isaiah 40:7-8 reminds me of God’s Incredibleness.

I believe that Isaiah 40:28-31 should be mandatory reading every day for every believer.

  • V.28 reminds us of who God is and what He can do.
  • V.29-30 reminds us of His promise and provision.
  • V.31 – “BUT they who wait for the LORD shall (not might) renew their strength; they shall (not might) grow wings as a dove (eagles in other translations); they shall (not might) run and not be weary; and they shall (not might) walk and not faint.”

This is not to say God will supernaturally do everything for us. Still, in our nearness and yieldness, we will renew strength and grow or develop the ability to soar above the issues of life, able to run (take the message) and walk (live) in Him in His fullness.

Proverbs 19:23 is an overlooked revelation that is vital for victory.  “When you live a life of abandoned love, surrendered before the awe of God, here’s what you will experience:  Abundant Life, continuous protection, and complete satisfaction!”

Do you have that manifested in your life consistently?  Do you desire that to be manifested in your life consistently?  Here, “abandoned” does not mean left off or turned from, but total surrender.  It is a life lived in such love for God that everything else is meaningless or inconsequential.  It is living in awe of God. Not fearful, but with a longing to belong fully to Him.

The three provisions are all-encompassing.

  • Abundant Life – covers all the needs and wants.
  • Continual Protection makes Psalm 91 a constant and consistent reality.
  • Complete Satisfaction is a place almost no human has achieved.

God’s open invitation requires our surrender and commitment.

Proverbs 19:2-3 – “The best way to live is with revelation-knowledge, for without it, you’ll grow impatient and run right into error.  3 There are some people who ruin their own lives and then blame it all on God.”

We can choose total surrender and the promised provision or self-centeredness and destruction.   God places before us life and death, blessings and curses.  He stands ready to help us enter in.  Choose to live in His best and grow wings to fly, run, walk, and work in His strength.   Victory is your covenant heritage.   Speak the Word!

May the Living God’s Grace, Peace, and Power fill your hearts and minds today!
